Simple Crypto Converter ("the extension") is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains, plainly, what the extension does and does not do with your information.
None. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no user accounts. It requests no browser permissions.
When you open the extension and enter an amount, it sends a request to CoinGecko's public pricing API (api.coingecko.com) to retrieve current exchange rates. This request contains only the list of currencies being priced. It does not include any information that identifies you. The conversion itself is performed locally in your browser.
Exchange rates are provided by CoinGecko. Their handling of network requests is governed by their own privacy policy, available at coingecko.com. The extension sends no personal data to CoinGecko or any other party.
The extension does not save any data on your device or anywhere else. Nothing persists after you close the popup.
The extension collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
